output-dev-upgrade-prompt-models
Bulk-upgrade the model field across .prompt files to the latest version of each prompt's existing family.
Connecting the steps of a workflow
What it does
Walks every .prompt file in a project (or scoped subtree), classifies each model into its provider+family bucket, looks up the latest stable model in that bucket via the [output-dev-model-selection](../output-dev-model-selection/SKILL.md) snapshot, and rewrites the model: line. Provider and family tier are preserved — a Haiku stays a Haiku, an Anthropic stays an Anthropic.
Use when prompt models have drifted (eg sonnet-4 → sonnet-4-6), after a long pause between framework updates, or as part of a periodic…
You don’t need to name it. Ask for the job in your own words — your AI loads the skill when the request matches.
What it can touch
No script files in its folder
Its folder holds text, not programs. It changes how your AI works; it does not bring code of its own.
How we know
Listed the one file in the skill’s folder on GitHub; none is a script or program.
Mentions an outside service
The instructions point your AI at these sites or APIs. Anything it sends there leaves your computer.
How we know
Web addresses in the SKILL.md, excluding GitHub and documentation sites: models.dev.
Takes instructions from a web page that can change at any time
These words are aimed at your AI rather than at you. Skills that teach defence quote such phrases too — open the line and judge the context.

SKILL.md, line 50 ↗Lets your AI run any terminal command without asking, while the skill is in use
While the skill is working, Claude Code will not stop to ask before each terminal command. The permission ends when you send your next message.

Supported. Upload it once in Claude’s settings. Works on every plan, including Free.
Built in your browser from the SKILL.md on GitHub — nothing passes through Launch7.
In Claude, open Customize → Skills, press +, then Create skill → Upload a skill, and choose the .zip.
Make sure code execution is switched on (Settings → Capabilities). Skills need it.
Start a new chat and ask for the job in your own words — Claude picks the skill up when it fits.
